Micro O-ring floating oil seal structure.
Suspension of a Drift car is extremely important in that it has a soft undercarriage in order to increase the driveability of the machine and the grip of the tires. For that purpose, the "ultimate low friction" is required for the operation of the oil damper, and as it is, the oil leaked with it. The Axon Revoshock uses a special micro O-ring and makes a clearance between the outer circumference of the O-ring and the cylinder to make the O-ring "floating". By doing so, the frictional stress of the O-ring is eliminated when the piston rod moves up and down without striking the O-ring and the surprising low friction is achieved. And by double inserting micro O-rings with different sizes, the oil seal property is dramatically improved, and the oil leakage is suppressed though it is an ultra low friction.
Axon Revoshock seeks the ideal oil damper, and the O-ring is newly developed. The special-purpose micro O-ring "REVORING" with different sizes uses a proprietary oil-blended type silicone rubber that does not change even after long-term use. The rubber hardness is also soft and supple to maintain the best bumper condition for a long time.
The piston rod for Levoshock has a standard dimension setting of 0.001 mm and is mirror-finished, and is finished with Axon's original "HVF coating" that is formed of the same strong fluorine film as the cylinder, producing the best dumping performance. I will.
